It's been a while.

Wow! Updating this makes me feel like I'm dusting spiderwebs off of my laptop to blog! I haven't updated here in well over a year! A lot of things have changed: I've switched jobs and went back to my old job at a local grocery store. Sean changed jobs a few times and is currently at a Landscaping job. Callie turned 1, Addison turned 2, and Gunner turned 4! I'm now the mom of 3 kids who can walk and (somewhat) talk! It's pretty intense. I've changed college majors, gotten a new car, my mom had a mini stroke (but she is doing alright now). My grandma had a heart attack, My sister had a major man change in her life.. just SO MANY THINGS. One of my cousins who I was so super close to growing up, who also just recently moved back home, got married and I did the photos for his wedding. It's just amazing to look at the BIG things that happen in a year. What about all those little things? First teeth, a baby that crawled who now walks... that very first birthday that never comes again, and all those times I wish I would've gotten better pictures but I am too lazy to pull out my DSLR all that much anymore. Poor d90 has been abandoned a lot in a year! I am, however, going to be doing Fall Mini sessions at some point next month... and I've reached over 5,000+ pictures on Instagram - which is like, seriously -- the best app ever. If you don't have one, c'mon now.. it's 2013. You totally should.

Anyway, I will leave you with some pictures of my kiddos. If you happen to stop by here, feel free to leave a comment. I think I'm gonna dust this place off a little and sparkle it up some! I've missed my thirty {teensy} toes. ♥

Gunner playing in the sandbox at the park.

Callie wasn't too happy after waking up from a nap.

Addy is a whole lot sweeter than she appears sometimes! ;)

My cousin Justin and his new bride, Ashley.

And again! I hope you two have a long, happy life together. ♥

Recipe: Homemade Lasagna

Homemade Lasagna

Ingredients:
Lasagna noodles
1lb. hamburger meat
Spaghetti Sauce of choice
Different kinds of shredded cheese (I use Mozzerella, Cheddar, and Colby/Jack, along with sprinkle Parmesan cheese)

Brown your hamburger meat and boil your lasagna noodles. Pour your sauce into a large bowl and mix with browned hamburger meat. In your pan, layer noodles. I use scissors to trim mine to whatever size of pan I use that time (sometimes I make smaller pans, other times I make larger ones -- which obviously requires more or less noodles). I usually average using between 6-9 noodles (depending on size). Line noodles up in pan going the same direction. Apply a layer of meat/sauce, then sprinkle on a layer of each kind of cheese (parmasan too). Then I layer the noodles the opposite direction of what I layered the first set. Layer of meat sauce and cheese, then if my pan is deep enough I keep doing this until there is no more room. This time, I only had room for 2 layers of noodles.. but anyway. At the top, I add a little more cheese than I normally would and bake on 350° for about 20 minutes or until the cheese melts and is brown on top.
*Garlic bread is always a delicious side to go with and my kids love this! Enjoy!
